During the 8 weeks of my trial period, there were many benifits realised. As this is still early days, some of the benefits last longer than others, some last a very short period of time whilst others are almost there all the time.
Having looked over all the blog posts from the last few weeks, the benefits realised have been as follows:-
- Easier standing up
- Sitting down in a much more controlled manner
- Standing unaided
- Left leg movement side to side, forward and back
- Dressing myself
- Getting in and out of the car
- Drying after a shower
- Holding handle to shut patio door rather than using the window
- Improved Balance
- Walking up stairs
- Lifting left leg higher when walking using rollator
- Wider range of motion in left arm
- Walk with crutches much improved
- Left leg more relaxed (less stiff)
- Left hand more relaxed (more open)
- Balance much improved
- Improved bladder control
- Dressing independantly
- Stepping over front door step without assistance
- Going up stairs in Derby more sturdier
- Clonus in left leg drastically reduced
