Hire Suit arrives

After what felt like an incredibly long wait, my hire suit arrived on Wednesday 17th May.

However, before I could put it on I still needed to film two more "before Mollii" clips and these needed to be done before my first session in the suit. I needed to wait for Hilary though as she is chief camera operator.

The last two clips needed were of me pushing myself in the wheelchair and also for a side on view of me walking (with crutches).

Not surprising these two clips took a lot more out of me than I had expected. However, as I was still at work I had a few hours before "treatment" would begin.

Getting Ready

We put the suit on and obviously as it was our first time doing it on our own, Hilary wanted to take her time and ensure everything was as correct as she could remember and what it said in the manual. This was also a major opportunity to get a new picture of me in the suit as quite frankly I had become a bit bored of the only picture we had.

Not content with just a simple picture, Hilary had to get a clip of her switching Mollii on for the first time

To be honest, I really wasn't expecting much from this first go as I was feeling pretty rough from the extra clips that were needed. Therefore there was no big surprise that nothing really happened that day. Although the instructions we received was to undertake a treatment every day. Hilary and I agreed to skip doing so on Thursday and instead to do it next on the Friday. This would then replicate the conditions from the assessment of having rested overnight and doing very little prior to the treatment.
