Weeks 12 - 15 (2nd to 29th August)

Weeks 12 - 15

The month of August has pretty much been a total wipeout as a result of a chest infection.

During the end of the first week of the month and the start of the second week I had started bringing up some yucky green phlegm. As is typical for me I wasn't giving it much attention, however, once Hilary noticed what was going on on Wednesday 9th, she took control. Firstly, she managed to get me a telephone consultation with the GP and having spoken to her a face to face appointment was made. After that appointment I was diagnosed with a chest infection and antibiotics were prescribed.

Having a chest infection is nothing new for me, however, what Mollii has made me realise, to a greater degree, is how my body reacts to illness. It is almost like there is a dimmer and diversion switch in the body. By this I mean that the elements of my body that work "well" get diverted to fight the illness which dims the ability of the rest of the body. When you are already working with an underfunctioning body due to the MS, having even less ability isn't good and also very frustrating.

I'm now feeling much better and it is several days before any yucky phlegm has materialised.

I can now resume using the suit and getting the benefits from that.
