Week 9 (12th to 19th July)

Wednesday 12th July

Although I cooked last night, the stress and strain of going to the office for the first time since December 2019 prooved to be quite overwhelming and I wasn't able to do too much. Once in the office I struggled with my left leg, which decided to just go into spasm and stay outstretched. The only positives from the day was managing to complete the 2.5 hour journey in each direction without needing to stop for a comfort break.

Thursday 13th July

A combination of missing my cook last night, humid weather and recovering from being in the office yesterday meant it was a bit of a downer day. However, when I sat down in my office chair my left leg remained bent and was on the floor when I went to pull myself closer to the desk. On a negative note I almost went Arse over tit as somehow neither leg moved whilst I was leaving the lounge. Managed to catch hold of the doorframe and thus prevented myself from falling.

Friday 14th July

Despite planning to cook tonight, nothing happened as Mollii was still wet as she had been put in the wash. Hopefully totally unconnected but I had another 2 near falls! Received notification from my supplier that my personal suit is all ready to go and will be sent out on Monday.

Saturday 15th July - Monday 17th July

With the decision made not to cook again until my own suit arrives I have noticed that I am moving around much more how I was pre Mollii. This does really show how much the suit is benifitting me.

Spoke with Richard from Remotion about tweaks I would like made to the settings for both my left arm and right hip.

In addition I have read through all my weekly blogs to see how many benefits I have realised during my trial period. We have written down 21 things that have been highlighted so far in the blog. I suspect I will de-dupe some of them and the rest will form a mini blog.

Tuesday 18th July

The new suit has had it's first outing and almost immediately I can feel some of the benefits coming back. Within 45 minutes of cooking I was standing up much easier again.
